We had bats in one of the columns at my parents house last year. When Donnie and Luv-Ann came to visit last July we smoked, then soaked them out, but failed to cover the hole to keep them from coming back. They didn't come back immediately, but we noticed the "smell" and the noise a month or so ago. Anyway, Alison and her family are here this weekend, so we went down to my parents to watch the bats fly out at dusk. I'm so excited that I caught it on video!

I love the bats. I wish your day didn't cover the whole. Maybe they will move to your house!!!
I hate bats...I'm glad that is not my house. When I was a park ranger there was a bat in the park office that some customer had to remove.
Sorry teresa - I'm catching up on my blogs...I hate bats! I'm freaking out about it now and hopefully won't have nightmares!
