More Vacation Pics

I can't believe our vacation is almost over! We have had a lot of fun. In the top picture I am holding Rachel (spoiling her, just a little!!!). The second picture is of Kalee and Aunt Snooks at dinner and the last 2 pictures are of Kalee and Chase, my brother's little boy. We have been busy enjoying the pool and beach!

Andrew is HOME!!!

The day has finally arrived! Rich and I are soooooo happy for Steve and Betsy ~ we actually can't put it into words! We can't wait to spend the next few days visiting our miracle nephew! Thanks to all of you who have kept Steve, Betsy and Andrew in your prayers. He is 5 months old now, and even has some teeth trying to break through! Thank you, Lord, for this sweet baby boy!

Vacation

Our vacation is off to a great start! We got a chance to see Andrew for a few minutes (what better way to start???) Then I got to spend a few hours spoiling Donnie and Luv-Ann's baby, Rachel. Yesterday we went out on the boat with my friends Alison, John, Chris and Anna. I think it is in my destiny to own a boat ~ LOVE IT!! We all had a lot of fun. Kalee really loved it. It's so neat when you can see pure joy - and that's what Kalee was all day yesterday. We also got to go tubing - that was a blast. Kalee couldn't go fast enough on that, either. We have a daredevil! We finished the day by playing Guitar Hero with our friends, Rickie and Shellie. That was a lot of fun, too! I was pretty good - think I was even better than Rich! What a great day!

Softball Trophy

So, I forgot to bring my camera to the party, but here are a couple pics of Kalee with her trophy! Her last game was Saturday ~ there are times when I definitely enjoy the fact that we have moved to Georgia...the weather is great! It struck me, on Saturday, that it was May 16th and I still needed a jacket! In Florida we would have been sweating the minute we stepped out of the car. That does not make up for missing our family and friends, but it's nice, all the same. (OK, now I'm homesick...good thing we are going to Florida on Friday!!!)

Principal's Award!!!

Kalee was chosen for another Student Recognition Award. Last time she won the Citizenship Award. This time she won the Principal's Award, for "outstanding work habits and behavior". She was so excited! I think she had the biggest cheering section ~ all of our schedules worked out so that we could be there.

Poor, Poor Jade!!!

Ok, the picture doesn't do her justice...Jade got a decorative hair cut tonight! She has been shedding BAD, so Rich did some creative hair styling! My grandma is horrified...Rich told her Daisy was next. I wish I had gotten that on video!!! We have a short video that shows the haircut way better, but I can't get it to upload. I'm gonna keep trying!

Tetherball

Kalee got my favorite childhood playground game for Christmas. I was so excited!!! She likes it too and is getting better! We took a few videos, and I am going to post them all. They are kind of repetitive, but I know Grammie T would want to see all of them, so I'm putting them all up.

Boys and their Toys!

We only needed a hole big enough for the 4X4 to fit in! Of course, they used the hard clay as their excuse to put the auger on the tractor. I must admit, it was entertaining!

Rich planted our 2 little grape vines. I was very excited about growing grapes, until Rich told me that it will be 2 years before we allow the vines to produce grapes. I'm not that patient! Lucky for me, the watermelon we are going to plant will only take about 3 months to grow.

For Uncle Steve and Aunt Betsy

Thinking of you guys tonight...wish we were together!

For Aunt Crystal and Uncle Kelly

For Aunt Liisa

Remember our previous statements about "ghetto booty"??? Thought you would get a giggle out of this picture! Just wait until bikini season!!!

Oh what a night!

We went to Downtown Watkinsville for "First Friday". All the shops/restaurants stay open late and most offer something fun for kids to do. This is the first time we have ventured out for the event - Kalee had a great time. Daddy even let her get her hair dyed! I'm attaching a couple videos...sorry they are sideways...I have to remember to hold the camera the right way. Maybe I'll get it right next time.
