Today's Progress
They formed the fireplace today. They also started the rafters for the roof and finished laying all the floor boards, so we were able to walk through the entire house today. They also layed the boards for the back porch. It's really coming together now and it's easy to see what it is going to look like.
This is the view out of my bathroom window (like how I said "my"?) Our bathtub will sit beneath this window...ahhhhh...relaxing!

So exciting, I like that there is nothing around you. Is it far away from everything or does it just look like it?
There are other houses, but we are all separated by a lot of acreage. Our neighbors beside us raise cattle, and I love it when we are outside and can hear them "moo"! It's also exciting when they break through the fence, which happens 2 or 3 times a year! We are about 15 minutes from town (grocery store, small restaurants, etc) and about 25 minutes from Athens, which is where the University of GA is. So, it's the best of both worlds - live out in the country, but have everything you need fairly close!
