Some highlights from our trip!

I can't believe our trip is over, already! We are all exhausted and glad to be sleeping in our own beds tonight! We had a great time - thanks again, Vince & Sue, for letting us invade your house for 10 days!

Kalee & Andrew danced together this morning...it was super cute! He is such a joy!

Then Uncle Stevie took Kalee for a quick motorcycle ride...she was a little scared at first, but she loved it!

We had breakfast with Aunt Stacey, Melissa, Grammie T, Aaron & Charley on Friday @ our favorite breakfast spot...Daddy-O's. Yum! Then, we went to Aunt Stacey & Melissa's to go swimming! Well, Kalee, Aaron and Crystal went swimming! Look @ these blue eyed babies! I don't know where my beautiful brown eyed girl came from! (Well, ok, I do, but the other three have such vibrant blue eyes - it's amazing!) One of Kalee & Grammie T's pictures. Kalee was very animated, as usual, at picture time!

Merry Christmas!

Well, needless to say, we have had a very busy couple of days! We had a Christmas Eve party, which was a lot of fun, and now it is Christmas Day! Kalee is past the state of exhaustion... Here are a few pics!

Our Miracle Baby, Andrew, turned 1 today!!! His mommy and daddy threw him a fun, fun party!!!

Aunt Betsy planned "Shaving Cream Mountain"! The kids LOVED it...and when I say kids, that includes Aunt Betsy!

UFC Night...

So tonight everyone sat around and watched some pre-recorded UFC fights...Andrew loves to watch the fights - he is so cute!

Charley was a delight, too! She entertained us all for a while, before giving in to sleep!I only watched pieces and parts - I do NOT like UFC!!! I can handle it as long as it's not bloody...so I had the computer as my distraction! Even Andrew gave up after a while and fell asleep!

A night out!

We went to a Japanese Steakhouse for dinner tonight - all of Rich's siblings and spouses - no kids! We even got Betsy out of the house for a few hours, for something other than work!

Here is a video of Jade and Midnight playing...Jade growls the entire time they play. It is quite amusing.

Midnight likes to bark - we can always get her going. In this video Kalee was cleaning up spilled water and for some reason Midnight started barking at her feet, so Kalee just egged her on! We are having a lot of fun with this puppy. And, she LOVES Rich (he's pretty fond of her, too, although he might not admit it!!!)

School House Rock - Kalee's School Play

Kalee was the Sun, in her school play, School House Rock. She had a lot of fun - and weeks and weeks of practices! We are all glad it is over! Now we are one step closer to Florida!

Papa bought his super star flowers!!! She was sooooo happy!

The Countdown has begun!!!

We CAN NOT wait until Friday!!! We are going to FL for Christmas, and all of Rich's siblings & spouses & kids will be there. This will be the first time that all of us have been together, for longer than 2 hours! We are all excited and can't wait to visit with everyone. We are also trying to stay healthy - so that we can spend time with Andrew, too. So far, so good - even Kalee is uncharacteristically healthy! We are keeping her hopped up on Vitamin C and Zicam! We were going to take her to Chucky Cheese's over the weekend, but thought twice when we really thought about all the germs that are probably all over everything there!! And Rich bought little hand sanitizers that attach to Kalee's backpack and he told her to make sure she uses it for everything this week!!! Fun times!

We can't wait to see our friends, too. Life has been a little stressful (for me, at least) as we prepare to take the huge step of building. Nothing like questionable economic times to freak me out! At least mortgage rates are getting low! But, this trip more than ever, I am really ready to "decompress" with our friends. I am missing that outlet more than ever. So, beware, guys!!!

Kalee is in her school play (she's the Sun!) and she has performances tonight and tomorrow. I know this week will fly by. My work's "Christmas Lunch" is Friday, so we will be on the road after that. I am soooo ready for it to be Friday!

Midnight had worn herself out after hours of play and fell asleep next to me as I was playing on the internet. Kalee is having such a great time with this puppy - she is super playful and loves to hang out with anyone who will pay attention to her!

Watkinsville Christmas Parade

Today was the Christmas Parade. Kalee had fun and got a ton of candy! Here are some highlights from our "big city" parade!!!

And what would a parade be without tractors?! Seriously, tractors??? In the parade??? There were approx 20 of them!!
